Terms of service
SemiCircleGame is a free iOS game for 2 to 8 players, on a single phone or each on their own device. By installing and using it, you accept these terms.
1. License to use
We grant you a personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable right to use SemiCircleGame on your devices. The game, its name, its interface and its code remain our property.
2. No account to create
SemiCircleGame asks for no sign-up and no account. Single-phone play and nearby play over Bluetooth work without internet. Online play requires an internet connection and a Game Center account, Apple's service. The nickname you choose is stored on your device and is only shared with the other players, for the duration of a game.
3. Multiplayer
Nearby, the connection between devices is direct (peer-to-peer), over Bluetooth, and takes up to 4 players. It is not encrypted: a device within range could, in principle, read the game data. Online, the game goes through Game Center, Apple's service, and takes up to 8 players; its use is subject to Apple's terms. We operate no game server: the host's device is authoritative for the game and shares it with the other players. Connection quality depends on your surroundings (distance, interference, network).
4. Acceptable use
You agree not to:
- decompile, disassemble or otherwise attempt to extract the game's source code;
- resell, rent or redistribute the game;
- use the game for any unlawful or fraudulent purpose, including picking a nickname that is misleading or abusive towards other players.
5. Limitation of liability
The game is provided "as is", without warranty. To the extent permitted by law, we cannot be held liable for any damage arising from its use — including a game being interrupted by the connection between the devices or by the Game Center service.
6. Changes
These terms may change along with the game. The update date above reflects the latest version in force.
7. Governing law
These terms are governed by French law.
