One clue, one gauge, two brains.
SemiCircleGame is a party game for two nearby iPhones: the telepath sees a secret zone on the gauge and throws out a clue; the guesser places the arrow as close as they can. Face to face, over a local link — no account, no server.
How do you play?
Two players, short rounds, and one real skill: reading each other.
Two roles, one semicircle.
Each round, one of you is the telepath and the other guesses. Then you swap roles.
They see a secret gauge, from 1 to 100.
The further right the target, the more pleasant; to the left, unpleasant. Only they know where it hides.
You talk it out loud.
A theme, a clue from the telepath, then you chat freely — no telling or showing where the gauge is!
Closest = most points.
They place the arrow and lock in their answer: the centre band is worth 4 points, dropping off as you move away — 3, 2, 1… or nothing.
Two players, local only
Two nearby devices connect directly, peer-to-peer. No internet needed: the game stays between you.
Dozens of themes
A superhero, a cocktail, a childhood smell, a horror movie… every round starts from a different theme.
One target, seven bands
The bullseye is worth 4 points, then 3, 2 and 1 as you move out. What the gauge shows is exactly what scores.
Played out loud
The app draws the themes and keeps score; the rest — the clue, the debate, the bad faith — happens face to face.
A connection that holds
The session is encrypted and continuously monitored: if it drops, the game reconnects on its own and play resumes.
Zero data collected
No account, no ads, no tracking, no server. Scores live on your two devices, and nowhere else.
